About Me

My name is Robert Sandilands.

I'm a software engineer and computer security researcher that currently develops in C/C++/Perl/Lua.

I have used more programming languages during the years that I want to remember. I believe that you have to use the right tool for the job. I did write a Fortran program once, also edited some Visual Basic. I also used some Lisp, Python, Objective C, Basic. I have written bash, cmd and 4NT scripts. I did a lot of Pascal, Delphi and assembly language.

At some stage I could look at a hex dump and disassemble it on the fly. But these days I do too much SQL and not enough assembly.

I am an expert in computer security and have a working knowledge of artificial intelligence, pattern recognition and data mining techniques.
